JOEY DON MILLS Warms Visitors at Local Soup Kitchen

On March 10th, as part of a Cup of Care, JOEY Restaurant Group's national soup program, JOEY Don Mills teamed up with Second Harvest to donate and distribute homemade beef barley soup to patrons of Flemingdon Park Ministry. Cup of Care, which debuted in Vancouver last year, will donate a total of 10,000 cups of beef barley soup to local soup kitchens in Vancouver, Winnipeg and Toronto by April 2010. In Toronto, about 2,600 cups of soup will be distributed. On hand to help were some of the staff from JOEY Don Mills (located at Shops of Don Mills) including Chef Rupert Martin, his wife Dawn Martin and Julie Karram. Giving back to the community, one bowl at a time.
